Aaron Montero Sequeira
Admitted to practice in Costa Rica in 1998.
Graduated with a Specialization in Intellectual Property from the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education, Mexican Intellectual Property Institute, the Latin American Educational Communication Institute and the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Professor of Intellectual Property at the University of Costa Rica. Active Participant in activities programmed by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Graduate courses in Copyright and Industrial Property at the University of Buenos Aires. Fellow in Intellectual Property from the Ford Foundation and the Regional Center for Book Promotion in Latin America and the Caribbean (CERLALC). Invited lecturer in this field at the University of Costa Rica, the Costa Rican Bar Association, Costa Rican Institute of Technology, Computer Law Association, and Judicial Branch School, as well as columnist on Intellectual Property in several media. Founding Partner of Promotora de Propiedad Intelectual, S.A. (E-proint). Associate member of INTA, ASIPI, IIDA, ITECHLAW, and AMCHAM. Vice-President of the Costa Rican Computer Law Association, Secretary of the Costa Rican Internet Business Chamber. Member of the International Who’s Who of Professionals of the Historical Society.

Gabriela Bodden
Admitted to practice in Costa Rica in 1998.
Attorney at Law graduated with a specialization in business legal advising services from the Latin-American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) in 1998. She has extensive experience in dealing with complex international IP portfolios throughout the Latin-American and Caribbean regions covering matters such as clearance searches, trade mark filings, prosecution and maintenance of trade marks (renewals, mergers, assignment and recordals of proprietor names and addresses) legal advice in relation to license contracts, franchising contracts, cautionary notices, advising clients on piracy matters and strategies in various countries, initiating and completing opposition actions, law suits and office actions before the respective Registries and Courts in various countries and having practiced in the Cayman Islands for six years.
Gabriela has attended numerous seminars held by international organizations such as WIPO and WTO. She has collaborated in writing chapters on trade mark practice and procedure for various publications highly prized within the IP field. Gabriela deals with a broad range of clients, in a wide variety of industries such as automobiles, hotels, finance, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, beauty, music, furniture, clothing, liquor and food businesses amongst many others.
Admitted before the Law Society of Costa Rica and graduated from the Dirección de Notariado as a Public Notary in 1998.
Associate member of INTA and ASIPI.

Melissa Mora Martin
Admitted to practice in Costa Rica in 2006.
Attorney at law. Graduated from the the Latin-American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) in 2006. Admitted before the Law Society of Costa Rica. Melissa specializes in sanitary (health) registrations and maritime law in addition to collaborating with our clients in complex real estate matters.

Pedro Chaves Corrales
Admitted to practice in Costa Rica in 1986.
Attorney at law and adviser in the public and private sector. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados) and of the National Registry. Teacher of Trademark Law in the Master’s Program in Intellectual Property at the UNED. Founding Partner of Promotora de Propiedad Intelectual, S.A. (E-proint), active member of INTA, ASIPI, and IIDA. Statutory Auditor of the Costa Rican Internet Business Chamber. Law Professor at the University of Costa Rica from 1987 to the present. President of the Administrative Registry Tribunal (2001-2002, hierarchic superior of the Registries for Industrial Property, Copyrights, and others). He has held positions in the Judicial Branch such as Receiver for firms in liquidation, Alternate Superior Justice of the Superior Administrative and Civil Tax Trials Court and the Second Civil Superior Court of San José.

Paola Hidalgo Murillo
Admitted to practice in Costa Rica in 2000.
Attorney at law. Graduated from the University Libre de Derecho, in the year 2000. Admitted before the Law Society of Costa Rica and graduated from the Dirección de Notariado as a Public Notary in 2001. Also holds a Master degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finances from the Universidad de Costa Rica, in 2003.
